"About a year ago it became apparent that due to the increasing demands of advancing Alzheimer's Disease, our Mom could no longer remain in her own home. A Care Facility was found for her but she did not settle in well. She rebelled against the change in her environment, people and routine. She became increasingly agitated and difficult to manage. We do not live on the lower mainland but were getting reports almost daily from the staff necessitating more frequent visits. She was becoming a danger to herself and others. It was heartbreaking to see her so upset and confused.

I had seen the advertisement for Full Spectrum Senior Services in the CareGuide for Seniors and watched the video on their website. I was impressed and called Ernest to discuss our situation. As soon as I met with him and heard Ernest's devotion to the emotional and physical wellbeing of elderly individuals, I knew we had a solution. In consultation with the facility, Ernest arranged for his caregiver to be with Mom three days a week. Right away it was apparent that more than just being a companion, Nisha was a caring friend that could soothe Mom. Nisha makes sure that she is cared for appropriately; that she takes her medications and eats, has clean clothes and body, is much less anxious. Nisha is able to calmly direct her behaviors. She is there for us to be certain that our Mom is okay.

Often Mom is not sure where she is or who is with her but she knows she is safe when Nisha is there. And we are assured that she is loved and cared for when we can't be there.
